I actually put my name on the waiting list for a Poochon puppy with Tessa after reading her testimonials and seeing the beautiful pictures of her litters.

Milo was born on 09/10/2022 and I was able to see the litter and chose Milo the following weekend. While I was waiting for Milo, I was able to visit and bring him a blanket and toy which would give my scent and also gather scents from the kennel from when he was ready to leave.

Tessa was absolutely amazing throughout. When I hadn’t been able to visit, I would email and Tessa would send l progress pictures. I have so many lovely pictures of Milo’s first weeks!

Since bringing Milo home on 09/12/2022 he has become a wonderful member of our family. He is an adorable character, and absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy that I found Tessa, and would recommend her to anyone looking for their fur baby. Thank you so much, Tessa x

We picked up Merry in early August (2020) having been waiting for the right time to get a puppy for years, we’re now about 6 weeks later and we now can’t imagine life without him! Merry is a very happy, cheeky, playful and loving miniature schnauzer who has surprised us with how quickly he is able to learn new skills (place to go toilet, sit, lay, shake, stay, lead control, etc.) and how quickly he’s learning the boundaries (only attempted to escape the garden once).

The experience we had from reservation to collection with Tess was fantastic, as we already knew it would be from family having dogs from her in the past.

We look forward to many happy years ahead with Merry and suspect we will be back for a little brother for him before long!

It took almost a year of speaking to the wonderful Tessa until our beautiful Winnie finally came home. She has been a constant source of amusement and joy. She’s well behaved and intelligent but also so spirited. Everyone who meets her falls in love.

A mentioned in my previous feedback my parents in law are over the moon with Sasha, & if it wasn’t for her we wouldn’t havd had her sister, Mable.

We picked up Derek in August 2020 and since day 1 he’s brought so much joy into our lives. He’s just the best puppy we could have asked for. He has a great personality, he’s very clever, a bit stubborn at times, but so gentle and loving. He never wants to leave our side and loves cuddles. He’s so easy to train and has learnt so much in the last 4 months with us. We couldn’t be more grateful for him.

We have only had little Noah for just under a week now, but he is already very much a part of our family. We cannot imagine life without him. He is absolutely perfect and just soooo cute! I have been looking for another dog for a long time now, since our last Westie passed a few years ago. I never thought I could love another dog again, but little Noah has proved me wrong.
We were very lucky with Noah settling in straight away and lucky for us he is very food driven so toilet training is not soo bad. Tessa was great throughout and sent regular pictures and updates. We weren’t able to collect Noah ourselves, due to lockdown but managed to secure an excellent puppy courier. We cannot thank Tessa enough for blessing our lives with Noah. If we ever decided to increase our family again with a brother or sister for Noah, we would definitely go to Tessa again.

Few days ago and the experience from first initial reservation of him to picking him up Tessa kept us informed of procedures and supplied plenty of updates and photos of him at stages and information for him at hone with us .
He is so lovable and cute that everyone has fallen in love with him he is a bound of energy and playful on occasion and has been absolutely spoilt he has brought joy to so many in the 5 days he has been with us we can’t wait to take him out and about on our adventures walking and to the caravan in new year . Well what can I say from start to finish I was kept informed ,I fell in love with a beautiful little cavapoochon ,and when I went to see him I knew I made the right choice I even chose his name ,my little Ralph .I want to say a high thank you to Tess and helpers you are a credit to all these puppies 🐶I’m glad I chose to go you as you are 5* breeder

We are in the East Midlands and had to travel to collect our beautiful boy. From the moment we saw him, on a video that Tessa sent, we knew he was ours. The kennels were clean and all the puppies were really well cared for. Doogle was collected at 9 weeks old and a bond was formed immediately. We were able to purchase a large bag of his food and nothing was too much trouble for Tessa. Doogle settled and was an angel on the 5 hour trip home and from day 1 he slept all night in his crate. Although now at 7 months he knows our bedroom is the place he wants to be. Doogle loves cuddles and is incredibly sociable, people adore him. This socialisation is all credit to Tessa.

Doogle is an adorable addition to our family, he is funny, boisterous, and so nosy. (Not at all shy) To anyone thinking of getting a puppy, we highly recommend Tessa at Castellan House Kennels.

We first came to know Tessa in 2005 as the breeder of Elvis, our beloved Pugalier. He’s 16 now and we’re thrilled to have happily introduced our pup Wilma to him as a new playmate in his golden years. Wilma (Westiepoo) is an absolute joy. She joined our family in July 2021 and has settled in beautifully. She’s smart, easy going and has us laughing constantly. We’re so happy with her. Hi Tessa, thought it is time to write and tell you how happy we are with Nina, We bought her home on Monday 22nd June at eight weeks and she has been a joy ever since. As you know she is the second Weechon we have adopted from you and she has not disappointed. When our Luna passed away I thought we could never replace her, but I must say Nina although different in character, is such a perfect girl.

We got noodle in lockdown after looking for a puppy for a long time, and it was the best decision we ever made. Not just is she adorable but her temperament is great. She loves cuddles and pinching our socks😂 If anyone is thinking of buying from Tessa all I would say is- go for it!!! She is an amazing breeder. She loves getting muddy on walks and meeting new people and dogs

I picked Amber up on 28th December. This is my 3rd pup bought from Tessa. Sasha a miniature Schnauzer has now sadly gone over the rainbow bridge at the ripe old age of 13. She was healthy all her life until old age caught up with her. I still have Pippa (shitzu x toy poodle ) now 6 years old & a very happy healthy little girl . So when I needed another pup to fill the huge hole left by Sasha I had no hesitation in going to Castellan Kennels again. Amber is a lovable healthy little girl now 6 months old & her & Pippa are best buddies. If your looking for a new puppy I can’t praise Tessa enough. She breeds healthy well socialized puppies who are a joy to own.plus the fact that 4 days after picking Amber up we drove down again to pick up Annie ( bichon x shitzu) for my daughter .

We have had Biscuit since the 22nd June. He really is an amazing boy, very loving and laid back. He is particularily great with our daughter and is always making our day.

We had Mollie , our cairn crossed with a toy black poodle ,delivered to us 15th December 2012.
We had popped down on a 6 hour round trip to meet her when she was about 3 weeks old . What a delight she is . Independent ,playful,very mischievous when she was a puppy. Her favourite thing was stealing used pants or socks which quickly taught the family to pick up clothes !
She loves children especially if they kick a football for her .
I would highly recommend Tessa . Her love of dogs and the care she gives them is obvious.

Tessa was so very helpful from the beginning, answering lots of our questions.
Very professional, at all times.
Pup was wormed, flexed, had first inoculations before we picked him up.
Took a blanket and soft toy to Castellan to put with his mother for scent.
Had his pedigree printed out, it was lovely to see his ancestry names.
We have had our handsome Fonzy home now for 3 weeks. He is growing fast, very intelligent, learns quickly, and most of all brilliant company. He a a real character, we all love him so much. He settled in very
quickly, and slept 7 hours from first night .
House trading, almost there. Just the odd puddle, but saying that it’s so hot at the moment outside, and it’s cool inside. Thank you Tessa so much, he is a little bundle of love and energy. So glad we found you at Castellan house kennels.

I have three puppies off of Tessa such a knowledgeable lady who produces beautiful puppies with marvellous temperaments that’s why I have gone back to her I have recommended her to so many people a very happy customer.

I had been in touch with Tessa for about 18 months and she let me know when she had some new pups, but none was the one we were looking for. Little did I know my life was about to change forever !!!
Having never had a dog I was extremely anxious when meeting our gorgeous cavapoo for the first time. Tessa filled me with confidence however and helped me every step of the way. On arriving home he already knew where to go to the toilet and despite the occasional accident he has been a star !! He clearly had a very good start in life as he loves being around other people and is happy and sociable! We have had Nuno for nearly 4 weeks now and we cannot remember life without him! He is a much loved member of the family and has already given us much joy. He loves playing at the beach and is a source of constant admiration by others. We of course recommend Castellan kennels and the great work of Tessa!

We picked up Bella our Cavapoo February 2021. Tessa was so nice from start to finish of collection. Due to COVID we did not visit prior, however we spoke with Tessa on the phone and received weekly updates and pictures.
Picking her up was easy. Everything was ready for us. We had all the relevant paperwork and a lovely blanket and food.
Our family feels complete. She is wonderful with our nieces and nephews and just loved by everyone she meets. She is so well behaved and training has been a pleasure.
I would highly recommend a Cavapoo for a loving family.

We got Darwin (Poochon) in 2016 and he’s was so amazing! We decided to go back nearly 3 years later and get Clara our Miniture Shnauzer, they are both super friendly, laid back and lovely natured pups. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a puppy.

We had Sophie two weeks ago from Tessa and we can’t get over how well she has settled in and how well she interacts with other family dogs and children.
We previously had a dog from Tessa so she was our only choice for a breeder and we highly recommend her. Tessa kept us fully updated with photos and videos and was there to answer all our questions. We also used Chris to deliver Sophie. He was so professional and really looked after Sophie during her journey.

We have previously left feedback about how pleasee are with Ozzy, our Miniature Schnauzer we welcomed into our family a couple of years ago.
Since then, after a lot of communication with Tess, we have ended up having an addition to our family, whilst arranging on behalf if my parents in law to have a schoodle – we just couldn’t resist having the sister. So now we have Mable, who is a HUGE personality & has lots of ‘sass’ & attitude whilst also being very cute & loving & a wonderful companion for Ozzy. She also regularly sees her sister, Sasha, went she comes to visit or we visit my parents in law. They also are so pleased with Sasha & are so glad they had her.

Tessa delivered a happy, curious pup with a relaxed view of the world and everything in it. Frankie has been an absolute joy from day 1, and it just got better from there – believe it! Potty-trained in a day, she is adventurous, playful and relaxed, even-tempered, and communicates well. We cannot imagine life without her.

This is Twiglet a 14 week old male Wauzer with is Friend Pepsi an 8 year old female wauzer. Both from Castellan House Kennels. We have had Pepsi since a pup and we’re so pleased with her, we couldn’t resist getting her a little playmate.
Twiglet has settled in to family life and his new home really well.
Pepsi and him have become great friends although he is sometimes a little energetic for her, they get on so well.
We’ve had lots comments out on walks about how cute they look together. They are great natured little dogs and a lot of fun to be with.

We got Ozzy just over a couple of years ago & are so proud of him. We’ve had dogs before but never a mini schnauzer. We wanted a breed that didn’t shed much. We are so overjoyed with our Oz & are really taken with the breed. He has so much personality. He’s very good, clever, affectionate, easy to train & very talkative – he’s so funny & endearing. He’s also ok to leave alone. I didn’t realise what they meant when they said that Schnauzers are vocal, & was worried he was going bark all the time, but he doesn’t bark any more than any other dog we’ve had – probably less in fact. He’s the best dog we’ve ever had! He’s fab.

Hi Tess We finally got Henry in November after patiently waiting for 5 months so glad we did. He’s settled in really well absolutely brilliant with the children very gentle and loving. My little girl has fully matured into a wonderful, intelligent, bundle of joy! She grew so fast & time has flown…I cannot believe she’s 5 already!! She was determined to push up her ears into 2 ‘radar sharp censors’ – that was achieved by approx 6 months lol…I was so nervous when I drove her home but had no need. “Potty trained” within 24hrs…even I was surprised as she was my 1st little pup I’d owned. Very intelligent and clever….has tried to outwit me on many occasions lol her ingenuity knows no bounds! Off the lead as soon as she was allowed and responded very well to recall. She has brought nothing but joy to myself and all who know her. Thankyou for my beautiful Emerald Gemstar (her KC name) she has certainly been a gem of a find & a star wherever she roams…my bundle of joy xxx love Glynis xxxx 🐾🐾🙏🏼

Our new puppy Teddy has settled in fine,he goes to the toilet exactly where he should and seems so happy and playfull.

I have registered his chip and also registered him in our local Vets,Bridge Vets in Brynmawr
He is booked in on Wednesday thr 20th of January for his next injection.

I am now looking for a puppy of my own and Tessa is my only choice for a breeder. I am really looking forward to welcoming a new castellan house puppy into our family soon.

We bought a little girl from Tessa over 14 years ago but sadly lost her last summer. After lots of photos and e mails we picked up our confident little boy last week and are delighted at how sociable and easy to adjust he has been.

We bought Buddy from you on the 27th October 2019 ,he’s brought absolute joy to our family, such a loving and caring dog! He was the only boy in the litter I would love to know how his 5 sisters are doing! He’s got such a character.

Have had Dila since 1st October this year and am so lucky to be her owner. She is a beautiful dog, very friendly, who has to stop and have fuss from everyone on her walks. Refuses to move until she’s had it. She is also good as gold with being brushed every day. Just as well as she loves to splash around in puddles and on one occasion rolled around in muck. Her groomers love her. Excellent temperament and well reared by Tessa Marchand. Feel so privileged to have Dila in my life.

Had Dila for just over a year now and she is an absolute joy with a loveable temperament. Can’t imagine life without her as she was worth the wait. My house has been turned into a home and I will never understand how anyone could mistreat a dog. Dila’s nature is a testament to the breeding at Castellan House Kennels so thank you Tessa for such an adorable pet.

Picked our puppy up on 13th November a beautiful male schnoodle which we named Timmy. He’s settled in so well and is now a massive (even though he’s tiny) part of our family. Tessa was great throughout the whole process. She kept me up to date with his progress with pictures and videos. We couldn’t love him more and are so glad to be giving him his forever home.

Bronte came home with us two weeks ago and from the start she settled in really well no sleepless nights marvellous appetite and already signs of becoming a real character. Thank you Tessa at Castellan Kennels She is a dream and we can’t imagine being without her.

Beti is just brilliant – absolutely everything my family and I could have wished for. She settled in really quickly and has become an integral part of family life. We all adore her. We’ve been talking about another dog for a while after our lovely old rescue dog died and after lots of research we got in contact with Tessa and she was brilliant at guiding us through. We’ve never had a puppy but once we met Frodo we fell in love and our life turned upside down but in such a great way – our family and friends are also smitten and so our home is full of squeaky toys. He settled within a few days and is a happy very waggy tailed member of the family- after 2 weeks he plays fetch, he sits, happily sleeps in his crate, and is progressing well with house training and walks on his lead around the garden. Our lovely vet commented that he’s ‘absolutely perfect’ and after his jabs this week we’re off to explore our favourite beach, he already lives car rides. He is such a brilliant little character and we look forward to lots of adventures, thank you Tessa!

Polly is an absolute joy, she is so loving and everyone who meets her falls in love with her affectionate nature.
She is very calm and also comfortable in her own space….often we don’t see or hear from her for a couple of hours while she has a little Polly time in a quiet corner, other times she is a bundle of energy; enjoying some rough and tumble and chasing her toys.
She loves the outdoors and is 4 weeks into puppy training classes; she’s happy mixing with the other puppies and being a clever girl, she’s doing very well.
We are so delighted with Polly; she has added so much to our lives.

Thought I’d update you on our little schnoodle who in the end got given the name Tilly as it’s her 1st birthday today. She has completely filled our lives with fun and love and has completed a few adventures already even though she’s still so young. She’s been on narrow boats, motor boats, steam trains and trams. Also loves going to the beach, although not yet quite mastered a paddleboard. She loves everyone she meets and soon snuggles on their laps.

I collected my gorgeous Yorkiepoo Dila almost two weeks ago now and can’t imagine life without her. Having searched and waited for over a year because of lockdown I am so grateful to have found such a reputable dealer as Tessa. Dila has been well looked after and it was refreshing that Tessa stood out as a breeder who did not take advantage of the surge in puppy demand and did not increase prices accordingly. Dila is full of energy with a healthy appetite and she is loved to bits, so a big five star plus rating to Tessa and thanks again.

We bought Maggie and May from you 13.5 years ago. Sadly we lost Maggie yesterday and May back in June but we just wanted to say what a joy they’ve been.
